HEC subsidiary, the Harbin Boiler Co. (formerly Harbin Boiler Works) founded in 1954 is the largest utility boiler manufacturer in the country and is supplying steam generators for China's AP1000 reactors at Sanmen 2 and CPR-1000s at Yangjiang 4. It is supplying pressurizers for Yangjiang 1-4 and Ningde 3&4. It bid for AP1000 pressure vessels.
